Donations to Locally-Managed Marine Area (LMMA) Network Coordination Support are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Locally-Managed Marine Area (LMMA) Network is a group of marine conservation practitioners working in the Indo Pacific who have joined together to increase the success of their efforts.

The LMMA Network connects practitioners (community leaders as well as NGO and government staff) and researchers who are committed to sharing experiences and information on how locally-managed marine areas can contribute to sustainable marine resource management and conservation. Members of The LMMA Network share knowledge, skills, resources and information in order to learn collectively how to improve marine management activities and measurably increase their conservation impact.

The LMMA Network recently updated their vision and mission as follows:

Vibrant, resilient and empowered communities who inherit and maintain healthy, well-managed and sustainable marine resources and ecosystems

To be the global leader in community-driven approaches to marine resources management

The Network's efforts not only looks to enhance marine conservation science and practice, but also to improve overall well-being of people living along the world's coasts, including their livelihoods and food security.
